r850r for sale

Yes but You Did inflate it (and the front ones) a tad more didn't you ??? :thumb :thumb :thumb

I did that on the way home. I looked up the relevent info on the metzler website and that made it feel a little lighter. Might put it to two up settings and see what that feels like. The play at the rear was messing up the front and between the two changes (3 if you count the rear tyre pressure) she's riding great.

Their one up settings are slightly higher than my manuals 2 up with luggage settings. By about 2 psi:eek

A very under-rated wee bike the 850R. Gary, the Woodworker had one and it was a great wee bike, well up to running with the 1150 and Jocksers GSA. Someones going to get a hell of a bike for handy enough money. :thumb2

It's more fun than my gsa but I feel safer on the gsa. the r850r is faster, lighter, has abs, and handles good ... here, why am i selling this again:beerjug:

I did tell you that didn't I?

DAMHIK, it was prolonged and expensive with a VERY Simple solution in the end

Expensive? Well if you mean all the work done, an unidentified rotting tank can cause all sorts of problems!

It has been one thing after another though. I got bored with it and bought the GSA. Forgot about it and now need to sell one due to space constraints.

I'm going to ride it for a while. The over run with the remus makes me grin. More so than the GSA which might also benefit from in update in tyre pressure. I might stand a better chance selling the GSA. I only need one bike.

Your a good bunch keeping an eye in me. Rock on;)

Edit. Here jay, the experience and knowledge I gained is priceless. Tnx.

Expensive Yes on My old K I changed steering head bearings stripped and serviced forks with new bushes and stripped out and cleaned / lubed the swingarm bearings did the FD bearings Got the hagon serviced etc etc etc

Sure T'was a MARVELLOUS wee Bike EXCEPT you could not change direction quickly under any circumstances long sweepers you could hang on to all day and not worry but try and change direction and you ended up like an octopus on steroids

End solution the Pirelli Tyres were 36 F and 42 rear against the manual and the info I had for the Me33 and Me550 that were on before

Praise be to the T'interweb!!! for one night while searching for tyres for a pal for his K1100 I discovered my error 6psi down at front and 10 psi at rear

to say Handling was improved was an understatement  :aidan
