For what reason Paul?

I currently use a GSA rack without the top box to carry the camping gear.

Thought that if I could source a rack extension for a few quid I could sell the top-box and rack.

I don't like top boxes anyway.

get some alloy, and a hole cutter for the drill an make your own

BE carefull with any rack extension....

I've got a big one (ooer missis) that i made out of a bit of scrap ally chequer plate and a bit of angle grinder/drill work......The back end of a gs isn't very well supported in the first place and a load of off-roading coupled with a long tour and a pillion with some weight on the back snapped the frame on my lebbenfiddy

It's now braced with a couple of fillets but if you do go for an extension, do the bracing first

You can see how big the rack was from this pic...it's sticking out the back even under that big Ortlieb full of kit

I don't do two-up as the missus won't go near the thing (Its the devils spawn as far as she's concerned).

Just want it for carrying a light roll bag, typically sleeping bag.

I bet they cost more than the Touratech extension but well worth the money LOL
