As many of you will already know the bould Gunner runs an event called the Rally of Discovery which is a navigation rally (on-road & off-road) over a couple of days for bikes of all shapes & sizes.

This year it's being run on 5th to 8th Sept (this weekend !) out of Lisdoonvarna where the Batchelor Festival will also be in full swing (if ya want a rich 'Merkin widow or a local wan with land) :bounce1

I have it on good authority that due to a couple of oversees cancellations there might be a place or two available. But hurry, time's short ;)
Contact Gunner for more information :thumb2

See youse all in Lisdoon on Friday :aidan

ps put in a reques to mandy for a bit of weather without water
we dont even need sun .... just no "uisce"

Mandy is already booked for keeping the uisce away from der Vaterland for the next week or so Phil. Sorry about that. :o

but but but....

when she confirms the request she could ask to drop it in the Uk or France but not in God's own green fair isle .......

well you get the gist

whare are you off to in the "Vaterland"

pg

hinterradfest .....

my only German comes from Ebay
and Vorrad i think means front and hinterad is rear or back
so by my powers of deduction ie "Rear end feast"

so drink and be merry at the rear end feast

and safe traveling

Much more to come

OK. So what happened???????????????????

Wouldn't you like to know ;)

After rain "of biblical proportions", as the Big Bollix is wont to say (and this time he was right) on Friday, we had the best day of the 'summer' on Saturday, a cloudier but still dry Sunday & another great day today. Fabulous weekend, I'd strongly recommend everyone does one.

Huge thanks to Gunner & Famous (and their band of merry men) for all the organising to make the event the success it was :clap :clap
And thanks to ShortArse & McIvor (for the help) & Daithi (for the hinderance !) in locating some of the clues.

Pictures & more news tomorrow ;)

PS: Gerry, enjoy the trip :thumb2
