So went to the Vines open day at Newlands Corner. not a bad turn out given how shite the weather was.

Have to say, the rallye looks just as bad in the flesh as the pictures. Not sure what they are trying to do with it. Then again it was slightly less hideous than a Green metallic R9T there, but each to their own.

Unfortunatley the Navigator 6, which I wanted to see, wasn't there :-(

I pitched up at about 2pm.... still plenty of people looking around. I thought the frame colour for the Rallye was hideous :barf but I really liked the various R9T's on display, including the green one. :beerjug:

I love the blue but not on the frame! I will probably go for an Exclusive when I change in the Summer but we are going to give the XR another go now they have cured the vibes.......

Are you bi-polar ?

I visited our dealer in Belfast on Saturday. I was kinda hungry and thought free sandwiches/coke/pringles and biscuits would suffice for lunch (and none were suffering from corrosion). :D

I personally liked the Rallye and the one on show (which was sold) had the wire wheels/Navigator etc all fitted. I thought the seat looked good too and the Exclusive beside it looked rather drab TBH.

I was there for a while from 10am. I liked the look of the Rally and look forward to testing out the new electronics! Still much prefer the look of my GSA.

I liked the Rallye on its looks and what it's been fettled to do...

Yup, I want one. Just a shame they haven't done anything about keeping yer troos clean. Mind you, a chum out on his R1200R LC today had his pillion seat and the lower half of the back of his jacket covered in road shit. Not good.

I went to Chandlers Brighton for the launch. I liked the Rallye tall and thinner than a GS/GSA .liked the colour . The Pure R9T was nice as well , a simple looking bike and the grey suited it .

They had customised an Adventure in Rallye Blue colours , Black engine bars Akrapovic and a vario top box . No pannier rails fitted . keyless and gearshift pro . Special seat etc

I really liked that , We'll see :D:thumby:

Though I have no interest in the LC at all, I have to say, that's a nice looking bike..

I thought it had the akro as standard or am I mistaken?

You said 'we' were going to give the XR a go.You and your alter ego ? :aidan

I see, the missus has to give any potential new bike the nod as she spends so much time on the back! If she's happy I get a new bike
