That's it!! I am going out Sunday whatever the weather! If it's wet I'll wear waterproofs, if it's cold I'll wear more layers, if it's hot I will wear a thong!
I am sick of being dictated to by the weather Goblin.
I am off to the tea room at Kinloch Rannoch via Braemar Glenshee Kirkmichael Pitlochry then over the A9 and off into the wilds. Why I hear you say - - -well why the hell not
Anyone up to join in?

Two of us were up to rannoch station on sunday ,great run, -up the north side of the loch then back by bridge of gaur on the south side. Once at kinloch rannoch we took the schehallion road ,a right turn, which was great, then over towards kenmore.Had a bra ride at a canny pace. Tea room at Rannoch stations good for your lunch.

3 "went"

3 returned

No photo's (too busy riding and drinking tea :D)

Great ride there and back via all sorts of roads - power "cruising" up the A9 against the flow of HD's heading south, horse and Belgium tourist dodging on the single tracks, smooth progress on all the normal roads.

BIG thanks to Andy for setting this ride up and for leading most of the day.

Looking forward to the next "progressive" run.

What a great ride out on Sunday to Rannoch Station with Steve T and the Stimulator
The sun actually beamed down on us for almost all of the day, the route allowed us to make good progress over The Lecht, Glenshee and along the wee road from Kinloch Rannoch to the station. Burgers, sarnies and lodza cake were scoffed before a run back this time taking in the far side of Loch Rannoch up the single track road which joins the A9 at Drummochter and then back via Newtonmore etc. Aviemore was bursting with the Harley Gang and Thunder in the Glen.
Many thanks to Steve and Stimulator for making it such a great day out, and no I didn't nearly run into the back of a girl in an Astra turning right I just wanted to read the type approval on her number plate HONEST

Looks like a good day:thumb

Takes me back to the "well ard gang":augie

Andy, I see you know how to do Copy and Paste as well - I thought it was only me who had mastered that technique :D:D

Many thanks for leading us round most of the time yesterday - apparently we saw some great scenery, but I was a little busy most of the time...

A great selection of roads (apart from the A9, but at least that was disposed of in fine style), fine weather, good company and refreshments as well. A great way to spend a Sunday.

Now to try to think of different words for the other site.

Iain
