I appreciate that this isn't particularly BMWcentric but I bought a 1983 XT600 Tenere from RAP Superbikes in London a few weeks ago
I phoned up Rick (the owner) the other day to tell him that the bike has developed a slight oil weep.
You might think "so what, its a 25 year old XT" but he drove up from London (120 miles) the next day, took it back down to London and sorted out fitting a new gasket and the bike was back at my house within the week.
And all for absolutely no fee
In a world of customer service, Rick (and the guys on the phone on the other end) have been absolutely brilliant.
And all this on a 25 year old bike. Beats what some offer when they are selling brand new 12k superbikes. Thought it only fair to spread the word about great customer service
