Anyone else suffering/suffered from this? 2008 GS, my front tyre pressure reading is not constant. The rear tyre pressure reading works correctly with no loss of reading. The front takes about three miles to display from - - to say 2.2. It then intermittently switches from 2.2 to - -. Say reading 2.2 for about 15 minutes and then - - for say 10 minutes. Any ideas why? New sensor required? Got the bike shop to look at it at the last service, but of course it didn't fault when they looked. :nenau

The control unit is female..........

Both of the GS's ive had did the same, on minute OK next not? Try manually checking the tyre pressures, when you do let some air out, the put some back in, works for a while. Thats why i dont like it........

Mine just works, takes a few yards to get a reading but I don't get the problem you've got. I've also heard they've a battery so that might be on the way out or it might just be a fecked unit. Moan at the dealer :rob

I have had that, got to the point that I had traveled 3-4miles before it worked. front and rear were the same no logic to it one worked the other did not , next day it could be the other way round.

Dealer could not find a fault.
they tried reseting somthing - worked for a day or so
they thought it was becouse I live near a mobile phone mast,
perhapes I was near a car with TPC.
it was all b****cks

It went away when they changed the units in the wheels.

The pressure goes up as the tyre gets warmer. Mine regularly reads .1 or .2 up on both wheels once the tyres are warm.
That's why the book says check the tyre pressures when cold for a consistent reading

same problem,
my dealer change the front pressure sensor and now all work well.
