re rail bearing screew

Hi All

I have been changing some ov the bolts on my 1200 GS for stainless steel
and have droped a clanger and taken the righthand side rail bearing screew out by misstake is there a chance there is any one out there who could help
I have not started up the bike so hopefuly itis not as bad as it my have been if started up :blast

Maybe a picture might help, as I dont know what you mean, sorry :nenau
 
If it's the camchain tensioner bolt, and you've taken it right out, I think it's not as simple as replacing it. The tensioner slips down and the holes don't line up. I'm sorry, but I can't provide any helpful suggestions about how to resolve the problem. Taking the cylinder head cover off might reveal some potential solutions for lifting the blade up enough, but I've never tried this.

Someone last week did exactly the same thing,
managed to fix it themselves as well :thumb
Do a search the theme was >> he fitted his tax disc holder to same bolt :eek: as you took out
it was in last 10 days IIRC :thumb

One of the Moderators should be able to find it for you :)

just to say big thanks to every one for the help managed to get the bolt back :bow and thanks to proff for the link he sent yep that was the job just what in was looking for thanks mate
