On a much lighter note than of recent in my posts 
Looking at some of my old slides and stumbled on these and thought you'd like to see (apologies for poor quality, they are 27 years old
and taken from grandstand on opposite side of track.
Place - Bol D'or.

Back then it was my first vist, as pillion on a freind's brothers bike. Said friend is a recent convert to the site - hello John
I was unaware of the GS at that time, in fact I bought John's R80/7 in 87 and that was me on the BMW path, still have it.
Anyway these are the pics - hopefully john may dig out some of his which would be great as he was trackside having started his photo journalism with a forged letter and a convincing chat to the press at Ricard allowing him a pass
