Put the rear brakes back together today and installed new rear master cylinder as the old one was buggered . cant seem to get the system primed . Is non abs so shouldn't be a problem , got one way bleeding valve on my tube connected to bleed nipple but all I get is little spurts and no pressure in the system . No leaks can be seen anywhere . What am I missing / not doing right

And before some smart alec makes a comment the riders plumbing is working properly with no leaks , perfect pressure , performance and excellent output

I use a syringe to push fluid in from the caliper bleed nipple, then bleed in normally and the syringe is handy for topping up. Front brakes have a bleed nipple on the master cyl. Maybe the back brake has one as well.

thanks guys

will give that a go , just got to go and find the local junkie !!!

Give the pedal a good pump and then crack the nipple until the pedal is fully down. Then do up the nipple.

Repeat the above until you get a good pedal. Simples
