Rear brake bolts

Quick question. I have a hugger on my GS which is attached to the brake caliper bolts. There are two star bolts that have come loose meaning that the hugger is rubing on the read wheel. Now, I can tighten them up (again) but what I want to know is are these star bolts also carriers for the caliper or is there a separate set of bolts that attach the caliper to the carrier.
If it is this set of star bolts then I'm going to be worried.

The rear caliper is attached to the bevel drive by two quite substantial Allen keyed bolts of about 8mm diameter on my bike. Most others are the same that I've seen.

Mines an 1100 what's yours?

I think the star bolts you mention are Torx bolts and are fitted to the latest Adventure models and are the same as my Allen keyed bolts, so you could be in a bit of bother.

Grab the caliper with your hand and see if you can rattle or move it!

The bike's a new 1150GS. The bolts themselves look far too flimsy to hold the caliper on, the thread looks to be around M4 at a guess and the heads take the smaller of the star keys that are in the toolkit. They screw into two hexaganol horisontal columns (could be bolts, could be spacers) which are about 14mm at a guess and are what I hope are the bolts for the caliper. I can't move the caliper at the moment so I think I'm safe but I just wanted to check.

The big hexagonal spacer things are extended bolts which hold the caliper on , The small star screws just screw into these bolts to hold the hugger on.

And locktite them in cos the little bast@rds are always coming loose.

Tell me about it. I tightened them before I left work last night, checked them this morning and one of them is already lose enough I can move it was pressure from just my thumb. :-(

Now, where in my garage was that tube of locktite and has it gummed up I wonder.
