Does anyine know the size of the two bolts that attach the rear brake as seen in the picture and where I could obtain them from Cheers Jan

Your BMW dealership will get those for you.....next day if not in stock.

Managed to source bolts I needed from local engineering suppliers - 2 M8 25mm stainless steel bolts at £0.40 each. Thanks to those who responded to my request for information.

Are you sure these are the correct tensile strength

For your Brakes Please Please check to see they of the correct
strength....

Stainless steel is not suitable for stressed components.
Source high tensile cap screws, plated.
If you are really stuck I will have the OEM bolts knocking around.

Many thanks, have not fitted to bolts due to the advice given will speak to dealer tomorrow and source OEM ones to make sure - there is a clear safety issue here and a lesson learnt.

..... not so parts department closed Sunday and Monday! As I commute on bike that means days spent on the train, which is not good.
