The rear brake light on my 05 1200 gs comes on and goes off when it feels like it any ideas ?

Corroded bulb holder and or plug connector? I am assuming it does it with both the front and back brake. If it just does it with one or the other then it will be the switch.

There is a connector between the mudguard and the silver cover under the rear seat. You get to it underneath, you will see 3 screws holding the back of the mudguard on.

Not a knackered micro switch is it?.. or even just needing a bit of adjustment
Ive ordered a new front micro switch hopefully that'll sort it
