Does any else find the rear brake pedal a bit short? Find myself twisting my foot around to use it properly. Has anyone successfully modded it?

BMW Bike Bits

Spoken to Neil at Bike Bits and they have something similar. I will roll on over there when I pick up my bike from the dealers tomorrow. Cheers.

I dont have a problem in the size of the pedal itself, but I do have issues with the height. Its fine when sat down, but stood up and the pedal drops far too low to be of use.

What i'd like to see is a block that raised the overall height of the pedal say by an inch.

Anyone do this?

Obviously BMW must be aware of it, otherwise they wouldnt fit that flip down bit on GSA pedals...

I noticed the adventure has this as standard - I think it just bolts on so should be available from BM (no doubt at ruinous cost). The extenders sold by TT and wunderlich are incredibly over priced for what they are - two bits of ally plate and some bolts. Could knock one up easily with a minimum of expertise.

Wunderlich brake pedal extender

Bought the wunderlich brake pedal extender. Soooo much better now. Sure it is just two bits of metal and and two bolts but:

A. They fit first time.

B. It looks like an original part.

C. It works a treat.

And anyway, I can't machine aluminium to save my life so I'll take the Wunderlich version and part with some cash. :D
