Got the letter six months ago that the re call was imminent, finally got the go ahead last week, how long does this take?.

I waited while mine got done at Jeffries and it was about an hour, but they did another recall at the same time, something to do with the fuel system.

hi just had mine done at Douglas Parks in East kilbride, they also did the fuel tank recall, word of caution, i have one off those farkle rear hub ( turbo/spline ) thingies fitted,got it from nippy normans make sure you leave the tool to remove it, with the bike.they gave me a f800 gs for the day for a test ride, so off i went up to lochlomond/glencoe for a wee blast,got a call to bring in the tool,when i was up glencoe, so it was the next morning that i got it to them, they told me just to hang on to the f800 gs till mine was sorted, very nice people and great service, i would recommend them.
