This is how to make and fit a rear flap to protect the battery and back of the engine area, and side panels for uner the seat to prevent road spray reaching the rider.
It started off on the thread entitled " Motorrad Concepts withdraw Hugger", and was a suggestion as to an alternative to the hugger.

I've recently done a similar experiment (with rubber car mats) but so far I've just made a left hand side flap. My left boot only gets dirty at the bottom now!
