Has anyone fitted rear hugger to GS1200 and if so, has it made a difference? was it expensive and where's the best place to buy one ??

If you do a few searches you will find enough info on 1200 rear huggers to keep you occupied for a day or two.

I fitted the Illmberger hugger to mine, bought from Motorworks although others stock them. No complaints about the quality and fitting was easy but it doesn't extend far enough in front to cover the whole shock unit and linkage. Motorrad Concepts' new one looks to be spot on and is cheaper than the Illmberger one too.

I took the alternative route and fitted a home made mud deflector (what else can you call it?) to the frame by the left boot. Cost nothing and works 100% without any risk of mud clogging. OK its not pretty and made of carbon to satisfy the ex sports bike types but it really works.

For the ignorant - how do you load an image up into the site? It seems to need a www address and I dont have a web site
