Rear light/indicator R1250

Hi

My mate has a 1250GS with the combined rear light/indicator set-up.

I noticed today that his rear offside light isn't working. All other position lights operate correctly, as does the rear offside indicator.

We are off on tour Saturday, and his local dealer, where he got the year-old bike from had no interest in helping. Other than book an appointment for five weeks time.

Anyone had similar and found an easy fix?

I did wonder about calling BMW Assist but it's not exactly a breakdown.

Go back to the dealer, show them the problem, and purchase a new item, tell them its a warranty claim, and cost the purchase price back to the mothership, its one plug and one screw to fit, if that dont fix, its going to need to go back to the dealer anyway

I’ve replaced all of the O/E indicators on my ‘23 1250GS with these https://www.weisertechnik.com as they work far more effectively than the std items.

I saw a 1250 GS with these fitted the other week and they were (excuse the pun) bloody brilliant

They're plug & play so no different to fitting non BMW front fog lights

Got them on mine - everyone I ride with says they are so much more visible than the standard ones.
