Rear R1200 GS Logo

My Nov 06 bike has no rear decals proclaiming its a R1200 GS (below the grab rails and luggage rack). Is this an oversight on my bike or has the spec changed? Most other bikes I've seen all have this. Any info would be appreciated.

Does this mean I should let Trading Standards know as it may be a countrefeit GS

No this is the new spec but you can buy these decals from your dealer but make sure they order the right colour ones for your bike. They are not cheap as you would expect they cost in the region of £20 the pair.

Just went out to the garage and mine has not got them either. Never noticed till you mentioned it. Now I`m getting worried as it means I might have to buy them.

Ditto for me! However, before I think about branding next is HID, then panniers, then ... (I won't bore you, but I can't stop tinkering).

I've got 'em....'05 model.

Noticed that the later '06 models at the Dealer over the summer were missing them.

Also the hazard switch (red button) will show up missing.... someone stole them too!!!

That's why '05 models are much superior than '06 models!!!
And '05 models cheaper too!!!!

Having had both....... you can keep your stickers & hazard light switch
