(as Rushy says, according to that list, direct from the 'official' website, they are illegal if they reflect white to the rear)
Like I said in my previous post, the legislation needs to be interpreted correctly.

the cops down here are way too busy, with doughnuts or biscuits and cups of tea to be bothered with a bit of reflective sticky tape....![]()

The UK traffic plod would have a stroke if they came to Ireland. Are you guys serious ? They would stop you for having a reflective stripe on a pannier ? Ireland is definately a more relaxed place to live and be a biker.

Nobody has, to my knowledge anyway, been 'done' for anything....it was a query about the legality....don't go getting all uppity and saying that means anything more than just a meaningless bit of BS here![]()
things will be different when I'm incharge.... all cyclist without lights 3 points £300 fine cars with shitty broken headlights 6 points, producer and £500 fine no appeal.
foreign lorry drivers mandatory speed limit 30Mph and if they have an accident over here it's 1 strike and your out plus your lorry in impounded. Cars registered in bing bong countries and driven over here must have an MOT every three months.... £200 a go or face a Fine and being thrown out....
people driving on bing bong driving licenses who show little in the way of driving skills..... get thrown out
job done...
