Rear Shock Absorber from +10 on +06 GSA

Hi,

My rear shock absorber have finally given in after 80.000km, and I need a new. I have a hyperpro on order, but they have 4 - 6 weeks delivery time, and I'm off to the Balkans end of next week.

I've found a 2nd hand OEM from a 2010 will that fit on a 2006 GSA ?

I sold my Wilbers shocks from my 2004 R1200GS to another GS owner with an '06 bike IIRC, the rear shock definitely didn't fit however as they had changed the size and offset of the shock top mounting lug on the later bikes rear subframe.

(I did offer to buy them back but he declined, not sure whether he got them adapted to fit or sold them on).
