Rear shock bolt on the F800. What's the story?

I've not had my F800 long but have seen a few forum posts about the rear shock bolt bending. If this is the case, what are the options and what are people fitting instead?

12.9 tensile strength bolt is the daddy, so the internet says

Ignore at your peril

Its not how high you jump, its how hard you fall.
It would appear that then what goes off-road (no, not Tescos car park) in a serious fashion may be having a problem.

This details the bolt and also they're support bracket they produce.

I'm going to try and source one locally this week as I'm carrying a bit more cake than I should be and off to the picos/Portugal next week

You would be well advised to get the bracket as well as the bolt
