Hello
I reckon i may have a problem with the rear shock. Its a bit of an odd one, as its not going wrong in the usual "loss of damping" manner that shocks usually fail in; but it seems that the preload isnt working.
Now, my memory is that if i stuck the preload up to "high", then with just me on the bike i was balls of my feet on the floor only (I'm 6'1"), but no way was i getting my feet flat. Now i can comfortably get my feet flat - and i havent bought high heel boots...
The back of the bike generally seems to be sitting low too. At first i thought it was the seat, but i'm pretty convinced its the shock.
So - anyone heard of this from a GS shock? Maybe its new to me, but not to everyone else. Second, can the gs shocks be rebuilt or am i going to have to give Mr Ohlins a call for one of his budget items?
thanks
jon
