Rear shock options

Any chance a mod would remove my phone number? Made contact. Cheers. Btw, ill post a pix of the bike on the RT shock. She looks kinda kewl.

Bump. I know this is great Craic down the pub. That fella buying the RT shockes etc...

Any chance a mod might...

Just spent an hour waggling thefront. I recon the front shock looks off. Just by a gee hair .

Putting the RT front shock on. At least I know their true.

If it works out, I'll stick the side stand from on the r850r onto it to make it parkable. The shocks are on eBay.

Anyone know how to factory standardise Ohlins?

Ps. hello Peter.

Pps. ffs

Ppps. road tyres? Big grin

Ppps. Their's a twist in the bike. I feel it. I'll post pix at some point but she rides great. Don't know what I'm complaining about really.

I'm putting the rt shocks up for sale...as soon as I get my rear shock sorted.

I've ordered a hyperpro. Should be here in about two weeks. I've still got the rt series rear shock on. It makes the ride a bit odd.

As a few of you might know, I've chucked the bike round a bit and it's taking for ever to get everything sorted.

Since I put the rear shock on, I've bought a corbin saddle (love it - didn't cure the handling), got a new front tourance and checked the front shock oil. They were different levels. Tidied those up and now bike running true.

So, I'm just waiting on a rear shock. Really want to get motoring properly again. The rt shock is a :bow very humbling experience.

Ps. Hyperpro will use your existing remote preload:thumb Mines just a standard shock...yes I'll have to take the shock off the bike if she want's to get on but maybe that'll be a good thing:hide If I can sell the rt shocks I'll buy a front shock...

a couple of pix...like I said, it's an rt shock and it's quite cruiser like (with handling to match!!!)

It's very comfortable too. Putting in an order from motorworks for a few bits and pieces, finish it off so to speak. Might also give the forks a lick of hammerite after a rub with some wet and dry sand paper. Must do something about the top box...it's really ugly but on the positive side, it can carry a lot of beer:D Cheers:thumb

Just the basic hyperpro rear shock. No preload. Could not afford the extra two hundred sterling.

Yes and no. Franck in mototechnic had a look, he took it apart and found it was unrepairable. It was too far gone.
