I've got the standard rear shock on my bike. I know i need to upgrade it at some point when i have the dosh.

I used to be able to adjust it by turning the adjuster knob thingy but that no longer seems to work and i can screw the adjuster several turns in either direction with no noticable change to how stiff the shock is.

Have I broke it ?

You probably have broken it. Pop round to Darren and MCT in Stowmarket as he can service most shocks (even ones that they say aren't serviceable). Careful though, he'll have a go at selling you Ohlins first :D

Cheers Womble. :thumb2 I'll give him a call.

Must say it might be an excuse to get a new shock :D Stock one is poop ! Maybe even replace the super soft front springs too .........

FTR did mine and a few others here (THREADS IN THE F8/650) and somewhere they are members here also :thumb2

I had Yacougar front upgrade and OHLin rear which they offer a part ex on yr old one. (transforms the bike no end :D)

I'm sure they could help mend your pogo stick also :beerjug:

Speak to John at Revs Racing he's going to do my front fork spring and Wilber shock for me for a 800 I'm building for a Mongolia trip.

Thanks for the contributions lads :thumb2

Seems I'm spoiled for choice. Anyone had front and rear replaced and got a cost ?
