Rear shock protector f800gs

Looking at getting a rear shocker protector for my f800gs to keep all the road crap off.

I used a machineart mudsling on my last 800,great piece of kit but at £90 alittle expensive.

I have seen these on evil bay and just wondered if anyone has used one or what people would recommend.

I think Val H of this parish sells Maier rear shock guards so may be able to beat the £90.

With regard to the covers there's generally mixed opinions - keeps shock clean vs traps dirt which causes more damage etc. Both seem to make sense but in practice you'll have to find your own camp.

it looks quite good actually. wouldnt mind one of these myself. i presume it doesnt impede or get caught in the rear shock/spring at all
