When i removed my OEM rear shock,

it had a sleeve type thingy bolted to it, to keep the crud of it

The wilburs i replaced it with, has a smaller body, so this thing now dosen't sit in the same place. if i could trim it i may get it to fit

(typically where it needs to be trimmed is the weakest part, and the remote res is in the same place lol )

Any ideas what i can put in place to stop crud covering the shock? or if the original thing can be modded ?

I've got a hugger on mine without the rear shovel on the final drive. Keeps a fair bit of the shite off the rear Wilbur's fitted to mine.

Mudsling keeps the vast majority of dirt off shock. Neoprene sleeve not as good as any dirt that gets in finds it hard to get out which makes it harder to maintain

+1 for the Mudsling.

Bought mine with it already fitted, but I rarely see the shock with anything on it. Quite impressed actually considering how exposed it is. Combined with ACF50, it's all looking very clean indeed
