Rear shocks

Well beside all my other problems,my rear shock is gone now as well
Is that normal for a 06 12gsa?
She only got 26000 miles on the clock now,some of it 2up,some with luggage but most of it solo.
What are my replacement options?(not ohlins or WP as i dont have the money for that)
