Evening Chaps,

I’ve recently bought a 2014 GSA LC. Low mileage, and pretty much mint except for corrosion on the rear subframe. The front seems ok, presumably as any heat from the engine drys off any moisture pretty quickly.
I am going to attempt to remove the subframe, and get it powdercoated locally.
I’m not adverse to wielding a spanner, but does anyone have a step by step guide to ease the journey?

Cheers
Dave

Someone on here has done their own rear sub frame recently which I don't think was too difficult to do. Hopefully, he'll come across this thread and explain how easy it was to dismantle and reassemble. Anyway, you're back at the top of the latest post list now! Good luck.

Thanks for that. My bike was in for an MOT today , and as I hadn’t had any replies up until then, I asked the service manager, who read out the order things should be done in. Looks like I can get away with not touching the plastic tray with all the wiring looms.
Just need to find torque settings for putting it back!
Cheers
Dave
