I've just been quoted £96.79 inc vat for fitting to a loose wheel.

Seems a tad pricey.

What's the going rate?

Tourance rear is about £79 depending on who gets it.
Normally about £10-£15 fitting loose

Hi, Just had fitted today front and Rear Metzler Tourances, to loose wheels, and balanced, whilst I waited- they also do a ride in - ride out service, for £150 @Wooster Leeds. Danny and Phil tell me that they have stock.

Don't know about Tourances but have found the Avons (Distanzia) can be had for £120 pair plus £15 fitting to both loose wheels by decent local bike mechanic. Look up 'roundandblack' on Fleebay.

.. and they haven't any rears in stock.. there appears to be a bit of a shortage as the 'old' Tourance is fazed out ready for the new EXP version.

Just used GS Motorcycle tyres 01189629561 seems OK, not the cheapest but then again he turned out when he said he would and was a nice guy to deal with, and for me that counts for alot

Just had a rear Torance fitted by national Tyres for £76.00. mention Yellow pages and they give you a 10% discount.

not every tyre place has the required adaptor for the bmw rear wheel, my local place doesn't.
