G'day all,

Any recommendations on sourcing the bearings for the rear wheel of an 09 F800GS?

Took the rear wheel off today, didn't think to put the spindle in the bearings and check for movement, however I rotated the bearings with my finger and noticed the bearing on the drive side seemed to be pitting, it gets stuck at a certain point and requires more rotation pressure to move it... I'm guessing it's time to replace them.

The bike has done 35k miles.

Cheers

just google wheel bearing kit....theres loads, or just go to a bearing factor with the old ones or the numbers off them..., good quality will be cheap compared to dealer prices

iirc, I paid £17 for a 3 bearing set with seals (for rear wheel) not BM though......dealer price was about £60

I replaced front & rear @ 38K and went for SKF Explorer 6204RS bearings.
It's well worth popping the seal and packing extra grease in :)
