have someone put the rear brake on, if the play is still there then its the paralever bearings need adjusted, if its gone, then its the bevel bearing :augie

according to your post, if there is some play, then a certain bearing is bad; however, i read somewhere that some play is ok to have, like the 2-3 mm described above.

what is the coorect answer? no play = perfect, some play = good?

no my post is correct for the 1100/1150, there should be no play, either re adjust the paralever bearings(easy) and if the play returns then replace the bearings(easy to), or replace the large bevel bearing(semi difficult) :augie
