Rear wheel play on 1150

I was working on an 1150GSA today, some play in the paralever bearings which we torqued up, but, there was still play, putting a fnger in between the ABS sensor and the wheel you could feel play, never had this before, no oil weep from the big bearing seal, no residue in the oil, could it be shimming?

Sounds like you are picking up play in the rear drive bearing if you have torqued them up correctly.

Agreed, but I have never had to play with the shimming on mine, I just do a bearing change at 35,000 miles each time it spits a period on the rear rim and its cool, I treat it like a service item on mine, this one has been played with and needs re-shimming.
