2015 1200 gsa tryed to take my rear wheel off to service drive shaft today studs will not move with impact driver as eney one had the same problem . The drive shaft is making a dry sound is the drive shaft on recall help needed vince

I'm not a fan of impact drivers as you never really know quite what they're doing so maybe try a breaker bar, but be sure the Torqx is fully home and keep it all nice and square/straight if you know what I mean. I'd be reluctant to use heat, but someone here will have had the same problem previously I'm sure.

Give you dealer a call about the recall as they'll know or at least should do.

If someone loctited the bolts then heat is the answer. Not naked flame heat or even electric paint stripper heat. A hair dryer is the best bet. Allow some time for the heat to soak into the bolt head and reach the threads. Then try a long lever or breaker bar.

Your drive shaft is due to be checked by BMW dealer,
I'd leave it to them to sort out.
If they break anything they will have to replace it.
