Rebuilding 1150 Head - Rubber buffer location - Help please

Hi all,

I am rebuilding my heads and cannot remember where the 'Rubber Buffer' is located around the valve gear. I cannot find it in any pictures in my Clymer manual and the exploded diagram does not help either. Any pointers on where it goes would be really appreciated as this is now stopping me getting any further.
