Rubbers need to be put on the standard bash plate

Position of brake line, can't remember front or rear?

Also, some type of sensor thingy in the rear brake.

Oh yeah, and my bushes in the left hand side fork leg are fecked. People really should jack the front of their bikes up and check for play!

DD...:thumb

I saw the letter when I got back from hols but it did not give any details. Sounds like it can wait until the next service :)

Ok took the HP2 back to Vines for a service saturday no mention of recal and have not had a letter to this affect :spitfire , bike was second hand from Vines May 5th this year was from the welsh mountains ala BMW.

Just wont to quote , any body owning such a machine should go over and on best sevice their machine their self as the Hp2 is not a road bicke but realy a works macine I find bolts mising all the time and every time they get replaced with locktite see the bicke has know balencing schaft I once own a Huski 50km after its first service I lost the bolt and pinjohn from back bracke if I hader weited till the next service the wouldent of been much left from the bicke to service so your just beter learnen to be a mechkanic your self and when some thing is missing replace your self bits art that deer I wont tacke my car or bicke to a maine dealler againe

Its true value

hey DD by my estimate your bikes now done over 600 miles and what with all this recall work needing doing, I reckon its worth about £8500 now, are you open to offers on it? Gotta be a bargain that, you don't wanna lose anymore than £3500 on it in 2 weeks now do yah! :thumb2

Oh yeah forgot Dan at 'BM' said they were gonna go up in value, lol

I would like to think you cannot put a price on such fun :blast

Live for the moment - I laugh a lot when I ride mine which is at least 5 out of 7 days every week :)

Will have no problem when the bike is out of warrenty. I have serviced all my bikes myself for years. As for a "works macine" thats a joke  and using unboiled spaggetti for front forks is another, the designers must have been :beerjug: BUT ITS A HELL OF A BIKE

Agreed!

I'm somewhat surprised that Marzocchi have fecked the forks up, although many years ago they did the same with the forks in one of my previous mountain bike's...:mmmm

Maybe they should just scrap them and give us all a nice'n'fat pair of WP's...:D

Hey Jim, this bottle HP sauce is way to quick for you, you stick to the GS...:nono That's why a few years ago, you rode a blade and I rode a 'blade bashin' Gixxer 750...:D I feel another 750 could be on the cards in the not to distant future. Well, that's if I survive the mad bastard I've got now...

Came up the by-pass today at about 'a ton', not an experience I would like to do again. Jesus, the fecker shuck the shit outta me. Not sure whether BM's idea of omitting a balancer shaft was a particularly good one...:(
