recomend me a self inflating mattress

if its of any interest i`ve just bought a thermarest luxurylite mesh cot, you can also put your self inflating mattress on top of it for even more comfort , and i can say no more than its the dogs bollocks, have a look at one a them.

Tip for adding air to self inflateing mattresses

Leave the mattress to self inflate,if you like to add more air especially with a deep bed like the megamat 10 wait until you're ready to go to bed before adding the air.
The reason is the cooler the ambient temp when you inflate the bed the less volume it will lose as the air temp cools.

The cot looks a faff unless you have a big tent to set up when pouring with rain.
I've always thought it would be a great balancing act to get into a sleeping bag whilst on a camp bed. Let us know how you get on with it
