Recommend a supplier of swinging arm bearings

Hi chaps ,I bought some taper roller bearings from motor works or motobins I forget which ,they were for the swinging arm on my mono ,anyway they were a Hungarian made product ,that have proven to be utter shite .
So anyone know we're you can buy a good branded replacment set ?

They're not Always the most expensive, only most of the time.

Worth a go ,the ones I Have now have done hardly any miles one has fallen apart the other side is solid ,full of grease but solid utter rubbish ,I wish I could remember were I bought them

I always use Timkins bearings , they are bit more expensive but exceptional quality. Just google Timkins with your bearing code and bobs your uncle/

FAG, SKF and NSK all make good bearings, problem is there are a lot of fakes around! Some BMW bearings have been absolute crap, some are SKF.
Most bearing factors rely on repeat business so they have to sell decent products - mine offers you the choice of made in Germany FAGs or made in China SKFs at half the price and leaves it up to you!

Anyone put new bearings in with a washers worth or clearance under them ? As the bearings a twat too get out .

Cheers chaps just ordered some fag bearings £9plus vat for the old style 30203 ,much cheaper and hopefully better than the new one piece jobs

A lot of FAG bearings are made in Hungary.
I know you have had trouble with Hungarian bearings but I have had Hungarian FAG taper roller front wheel bearings in my old R100 for 25K+ miles with no problem.

Over the years and with direct experience I can recommend Japanese NSK bearings as being pretty bloody good.
