I'm looking to upgrade the horn on my GS, Lots of folks slag off the Stebel offerings, so what's are the alternatives.

What have you fitted and is it any good.

Thanks.

Stebel Magnum easy fit well loud enough too Used only yesterday to avoid a smidsy :rob

The twin horns from an LT or RT circa 2005 make a din but complication is starting to emerge as with the Stebel Nautilus which is even louder but drags almost 20 amps so relay and wiring required and maybe tank removal

I use twin FIAMM AM80s luxe I like them one horn lo one hi they replaced the old FIMAA le grande twins (one feked up)much the same minus the we guard on the horn mouth

Put a fiamm mini blaster on mine from Nippy Norman's £14 wired it through a relay I had and it's much louder than stock.
Initially bought a master blaster for the GSA but had a nightmare making it fit so ended up getting the mini which fits no probs

I did the same as Edward, bought from same Dutch ebayer. Easy job. Just used std 'springy' horn mount strap from original horn and mounted new relay (in kit) on top of horn under headstock. Some posts say you can use std horn relay/fuse and wiring (15A rating) but as Nautilus draws 18A I chose not to take the chance.

The French horn has a good sound but you do have to play it left handed

For those with long memories, i have a City Slicker special on my bike. It's one of those items that will be moved from my bike if i change it. Nigh on impossible to get hold of and the best horn there is, if you ever see one for sale grab it quick. :thumb2
