Givi 330, then just attach a GS to it![]()
Cheers for that Johno
Re GS, been there done that (few times) although never say never
Got to say though, really enjoying the S10 so far![]()
Good to hear
Givi must have an S10 version of the airflow,
That's the way to go.
Givi Airflow on mine, looks a bit ugly, but I think form is following function as it works very well.
Winglets huge improvement then fit the Yamaha touring screen, set at mid position three figure speeds visor fully open all day and I am 6'1".
And the Yamaha screen is only £130 ish with a bit of discount looks correct for the bike instead of adapted for it.
Zed; could you do me a favour and measure the hight and width of your Yamaha Touring screen so I can compare to the standard one? Cheers
Will do that tonight for you Melly
I know 2 others on here who decided on the Yamaha Adv screen both very happy and both have also fitted the winglets
I can only comment about GS screens but basic aerodynamics can't be *that* different.
GSA turbulence
GSA with Tobinators better but still bashed my head about
With TT spoiler small sweet spot but visor mists in cold & wet weather.
Givi AF330 much reduced turbulence.
Givi AF330 with Tobinators better still. Turbulence is bad when it's moved up towards vertical
Much better with main mounts on low and front raised on Tobinators
Winglets reduce flutter under arms but have no effect on head turbulence.
To give an idea of my head height above seat I'm 5'8" and use a standard GS seat on low.
If Givi make a 330 for the S10 then buy it. If not try to find a way to make brackets for a GS 330.
+1 for the winglets, fit them first as they make a big differrence. I'm 5' 10" tall of which 32" is inside leg. Winglets and standard screen work fine for me.
Another option is Calsci Screens, http://www.calsci.com/motorcycleinfo/Tenereprod.html , I've no personal expereience of them but the guys on Advrider seem to really rate them.
MRA with the flip spoiler on the front
great job, this is mine below
