Recommend me a wireless multi-function printer

Check out the Epson BX600FW. WiFi printer, scanner, fax, built-in memory card readers to print direct from card. You can pick it up for around £100 (give or take)
Ours is great. Haven't tried it with photo paper and it's four colours, so I wouldn't expect it to rival PhotoBox for photos, but for general B&W and colour printing its fast and good. The missus is a teacher so it got a real workout getting ready for school to go back!
I just bought a Continuous Ink system for it for £35 (about the same prices as a set of replacement cartridges) so it should be much cheaper to run. If you're thinking about a continuous ink system, note it's compatible with systems designed for the Epson Office B40W - I found ours on ebay (http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/liufei0528/)

I have the non wireless ip5000 from Canon - they do a wireless equivalent ... now

If my current Canon printer went up in smoke I wouldn't hesistate to get another one
Epson - had 2 different printers would not have another one... print heads clogging ... cleaning cycles ... blah - blah
The Canon is very good quality, quiet and is "easy" on ink

A few months ago my epson CX6400 combined colour printer/Scanner died & refused to work.
I hunted round for a repacement & came across this:
Samsung CLP-315K combined colour laser printer/Scanner/Cardreader/Wireless.
Eventually bought a CLP-315W £172.99 delivered to Northern Ireland from Amazon after much hunting around.
Whilst it was in transit, I ws talking to a f(r)eind, who told me the bastards (Epson) had fitted a sheet counter into the printer & this turns it off after so many sheets. (Undocumented)
Looked it up on net, & found out how to reset the counter, which (oficially) does not exist. Reset it & printer works perfectly again.
I then remembered that I had dumped the last 2 Epson printers for the same reason.
What are the chances of me ever buying another Epson Product?
Samsung printer has never been taken out of the box yet, but it is eating no grass.

i just bought a lexmark x6675 from Aldi - brilliant bit o kit
i have just bought a HPC7280 all in one printer (fax, copier,scanner & printer) from ebay. second hand but it is MINT, all for the grand total of £50.00. new ones on amazon are £99 ish. Got a complete set of inks for it also on ebay for £7.49
(5 individual inks).
A bit noisy on start-up but quality is great and I'm only using cheap ink.

I had an Epson Stylus printer for a couple of years that just refused to print so I threw it away. Now I know why.
