I'm needing some options for winter spec gloves with the emphasis on waterproof and warmth with windproofing, without being too bulky like a road glove

Does anything exist?

I've tried Sinisalo Waterproof gloves and MSR Goretex ColdPro and have been significantly underwhelmed:tears

I put a cheap pair of Oxford muffs on, and wear normal gloves. :thumb
I've given up on finding the Holy Grail, gloves that are warm, waterproof, and you can feel the controls. :(

Good idea ! I don't think any offroad gloves are up to much as you say

And finally, Denise's. :D

Only using one press stud results in a larger opening (ooh err missus!) which I find better for movement, whilst still keeping the weather off.

Well, I've just called my local dealer and his Oxford catalogue is a little vague..... I need to check whether the product code is OF82..... Earthmover, can you assist, is this the code number your items have?

Yes, they fit over handguards. All the bikes pictured have Cycra's on like this:

As for the Muffs shown, they look to be a little "better" than the basic ones I use. Will have a peruse of the catalogue and see if I can fnd the right ones.

The ones I have are Oxford "Sports". They were the cheapest pair in HG at Chester, at just over £20.00. I didn't try to make them an exact fit, just held them on with a couple of cable ties to ensure I got the best comprimise between weather protection and ease of movement and control. They make a significant difference, and are cheap enough to not care about destroying them, which in two winters use I have failed to do! I even swap them on to the GS if I'm expecting foul weather. Maybe those are the new "improved" version?

Nice bike mister:augie

If you guys want Muffs, Val of this parish sells them they fit over the handguards of a 1200 (Just) I have a set in the garage somewhere if anyone wants some S/H ones, just give me time to find them.

I'd be interested in the used ones....

Picking up the oulaws from Luton airport in the evening on 28th Dec if that works?
