Recommend nice handguards for the 1100GS

Looking for something with the metal bar through them for extra protection.

Couple on the TT site but no mention of the metal bar

Not buying yet... just snooping about on a slow Friday afternoon.....

I'd be interested in answers to this too.
My 1100's handguards are past their best and I'd like something with a bit more coverage (the back of my hand cops for a load of rain and another 1/2" of height would make a big difference).

I have spotted the Acerbis Multiconcept but not sure will they fit the 1100GS. Around £66 delivered. They come with two sets of plastics - "Enduro" (125mm tall) & "Touring" (170mm tall) and a mounting kit.

And this chap looks like he has the Acerbis/Touratech ones with extra tall "spoilers". As far as I know, they don't have the metal bar through them to protect your hands/levers etc.

thats what ive got ,they dont have the metal bar
as i said above look at the barkbusters they have loads of different models

Of course you could be totally boring and fit the 1150 hand guards with a set of TT spoilers, bolt straight on to the 1100 but of course no metal bar.

Think I may have a set in the spares pile

Yeah, already have a set from an 1150 on my bike which are scraped to shit and held on with cable ties.

The multiconcept look the best so far I think for protection from the elements and have the metal bar, but will they fit the 1100?

Save your money and cut your own extensions out of a black plastic bucket.

Save even more money and find a truck mudguard that has been ripped off and left lying in a ditch. Better quality plastic IMHO.

OK, so apparently the Acerbis Multiconcept ones won't fit on the 1100/1150GS according to a chap on Advrider.

So the #1 choice that I can find are the Barkbusters BHG20 VPS handguards with the Storm S3 covers.
