recommend video software

can anyone recommend a video edit software where i can easily take bits out and join clips.

your machine comes with it MS movie maker on windows or apple's iMovie both are pretty simple....

Quicktime Pro is cheap works on either and for around £50 it's solid and easy to use

you right it won't take the bits out you have to tell it to take the bits out....

Search the Windows Movie Maker help for 'split' and 'trim'

'Split' puts a break into a clip, enabling you to take pieces out.

'Trim' tells Movie Maker not to play any of the clip after the trim point. So it has a similar effect to 'split' except it leaves your clip intact, just doesn't play the bit you don't want.
