Morning all, me and 2 mates are off to Seebach in the Black Forest and will be based there for 4 nights in early July.
It’s on the stunning B500 and we know it’s heavily Policed nowadays BUT can anyone recommend a local (or not so local) bike meet for us to attend whilst there.

Our first night is in Bastogne then we’ll head down to Seebach the following day, 4 nights there then a night in France on our way back to the tunnel.

Any information is welcomed. Thanks in advance.

Dave👍🏻

Kandel mountain and Mummelsee are popular places. Not formal meets but loads of bikes, especially weekends.

Loads of roads have restrictions on weekends so check this map

zoom in and click on the symbol.

Something like this label "1848 Sa-So -Hohnstein -Rathewalde" means closed to bikes Sat & Sun (Sa-So)

If you are there on a weekend, then maybe cross the Rhine to the Vosges and head to the Grand Ballon.

Thanks mate that’s brilliant. I was aware that some roads are closed at weekends to bikes but this map is excellent. Thank you👍🏻

Roughly south of Kaiserslautern you’ll find the B48. Along there is a tiny hamlet called Johanniskreuz. There you’ll find a large car park where motorcyclists meet. There are cafes and food stalls. This is one of my favourite roads in the area but basically the whole area is motorcycling heaven!

somewhere to drop into on the way from Bastogne I guess

is it Cafe Nickliss at https://maps.app.goo.gl/jbUpTHK2gMTrwxqb9

or 200m down the road at this hotel https://maps.app.goo.gl/rpu6xCgM4qNbnx4z9

You’ve found it. The bikes meet in the car park by the hotel. The cafe up the road did great cake last time I was there.

Stopped there for lunch 3 weeks ago

Lots of bikes there in 2-3 cafes

Always loads of bikes here.
Nice spot for food. That's if you are nearby.
