Hi Khulu, we have booked Hotel Portavescovo as the reviews looked good. Cost included half board

I'm here in Arabba as I booked your hotel so I could send you photos.
I'm drinking Konig Ludwig weiss bier at the hotel Malita as I've stayed here before and they they had it. (Plus, I'm still hooked into their Internet!)
The turn off to your hotel is just uphill from the roundabout.
You will see hotel Pordoi at the road side. Go past it with it on your left and a road goes uphill behind it to your hotel.

Portovesco is very good family owned and run good restaurant and underground car park
Stayed there on last trip to dolly’s and is a regular ski week for a large group of SnowHeads
We did a fixed price deal for the days we spent there to cover dinners as well as B&B!

I've had 3 from 4 courses and just finished the baked chicken - really, really tasty!.

Malita underground parking is easier a bit.

Both have an old guy running the restaurant who's done it for decades.

If your eventual route takes you through Alsace - would heartily recommend the Crest Road about 80Km lovely sweeping bends and spectacular views - has to be one of my favourite biking roads
