Greetings

I am putting an infra red wired webcam into the garage to watch my bike, and I want to motion record what happens in the night.

What software would be good for motion detection recording to my computer Hard drive? Something cheap - or free or good?

i found a freeware program about 3 months ago... thought that could be handy... bookmarked the site, and now i can't find it:(

but there are free programs out their:)

I found it a bitch to install, but it works brilliantly. While the installation was painful and tedious at times, it's less tedious than Eastenders or endless re-runs of Morse........

I had a play with Active WebCam from PY Software. This seems to have loads of features and the ability to send e-mails, capture images etc. However, I tried using it with a wireless camera to monitor my garage and found that glitches in the wireless signal caused the software to believe it had seen movement.

Meant to hard wire the camera and re-test, but never got round to it...:augie

You can find PY Software here
