Have I missed something....the areas section has always been called 'regional information' hasn't it?

4. An area of interest or activity; a sphere.
5. Ecology A part of the earth characterized by distinctive animal or plant life.
6. An area of the body having natural or arbitrarily assigned boundaries: the abdominal region.
This is UKGSer.....Scotland is , by those definitions, a region within the UK...sure it's a country in its own right, but where has anyone ever suggested it wasn't?
The same could be said for the Irish and Welsh sections within that section.
