Ok,

this has been done to death in past id swear, but what I am looking at doing it picking up a new 450 enduro when i get the redundancy in the summer

The issue is no one is registering enduros anymore in ireland.

The reason I am picking the bike is its new, but in shop for last few years, and model has not changed, klr450r, since was released so i hope get a good knock don on price

but they wont make it road legal

now i can get all the bits, hi/low beam, brake lights, ignition etc to make it legal and easy fit

but once i have bike, VAT receipt and letter from manufacturer what else would i need?

seems be case some tax offices will happily do it for you and others say depends on person you meet in the NCT

also no oe has the Co2 stats for enduro bikes so not sure if possible get them

You need a letter on conformity which shows that the bike conforms to legal road use standard in Europe
Meant certificate of conformity or COC
Without that I don't think you will get it done

KLX 450

if coming from the UK , might be better to get it registered there , getting a cert of Conformity for a KLX 450 will be problematic , not sold as road legal in uk / Ireland
had awful problems with a Honda XR650L that was not certified in EU
