Regular Surrey / Hants Offroad Ride

Probably not suitable for road tyres this time as the lanes will be very slippy with all the melted snow, if you stick with those tyres then you need to wait for summer when it's dry.

Going up water lane? Hhmmn the stream at the bottom will be deep now! Get your water wings out people!

hit some of the lanes around me today and quite a few are quite badly flooded out (even those which are normally quite dry - devils highway which has been graded has some long flooded sections). Hopefully would be better by next week.
Water Lane would be "fun" if you can get traction but as you say todd, carrier bags over feet in ur boots would be in order :D

Hi ya fella`s

Went an blasted couple of lanes yesterday, Damn they are muddy and wet.

The ones over near bentworth arent to bad, big deep water filled holes are back.....YAY...!

Most are passable easily.
I went down water lane. Come off couple times,:blast and yes its WET...!

Looking forward to sunday.:thumb2

Final List??

Hot off the press:

OK, latest update!

Confirmed - Horse1200 / Losttheplot / Dave Emsley / Jeff Kirby / SamD (assuming no Dehli belly!?) / dollyrocket / Phil / Bryan + me, dxwalt & Todd - (11 definite)

Possible - Muppix / NCpierce

No more changes....... please:thumb

I went around some of the lanes on Saturday to try and memorise the route and avoid to much map reading time, as others have said there is a lot of water out there,, its going to be a fun day!!
One of the lanes on the route goes from Leyth House and ends on the top of Butser Hill, has anyone ridden it recently?
The route in total will be about 60 to 70 miles, there will be some petrol stops for the gas guzzlers!
See you all on Sunday.
David

Will try and make the next one.

Thanks

Nigel

See you all sunday morning, weather looks not to bad for sunday. Hope the GSA survives, trading it in soon.....:blast :thumb2 (one careful owner and all that...)

A good incentive for me to get the welder out soon and adapt my late dads trailer so I can haul the KTM up to Alton for a blast in the mud.

Enjoy the ride and somebody post some pics FFS.:thumb2

Can't make

Dave (can't say Pinky........), sorry mate, can't make it this Sunday. Work to do at home so this ones a miss. I can see that this leaves a space so lets hope someone as good looking as me can fill it....hey hey!!
Have a great day

lets hope someone as good looking as me can fill it....

Did someone call? :aidan

Pinkytiff, what time would we be finishing at please? I went out on the DR-Z in the dark the other day and am now of the opinion that the articles of mirth referred to as 'lights' are in probable contravention of the goods description act.

In short, me lights are carp.

Can I please stay on the 'maybe' list? Will let you know on Saturday.

Fanks!

Mup.

We should be done by the time its dark - but I guess you'd need to leave circa 3.30 to be home b4 its dark.....? You can always break off early if need be though so its not a prob. Hope to see you there :thumb

Darren - What u changing it for? something bigger and more clumbersome? (like a car)? or are you getting an orange tint in your eye?

Maybe orange, or even red & italian. Even that can`t be as unreliable. Going to see the Bahnstomer guys first though.

I might have to bail.

The bike isnt playing, bike seems to be stuck on max revs and ive stripped everything down today and reasembled and still no joy, so am waiting for abit of inspiration from the gasgas forum to see if they can point me in the right direction, will confirm later..
